Cal Maritime is on a stunning waterfront campus in Vallejo. It is the only degree-granting maritime academy on the entire west coast. Golden Bear is the name of the training ship used for hands-on maritime training. The ship recently named its first female captain.
Nestled in the heart of Vallejo, California, the campus is also close to a number of major cities. Some of those cities are San Francisco and Sacramento. This makes it easy for students to get internships and job opportunities after graduation.
The Vallejo area is also rich in history and culture. Area sites include the Mare Island Museum, Charles M. Schulz Museum & Research Center, as well as a variety of restaurants and shops.
Reach In-Shape Health Clubs by turning left onto Maritime Academy Dr. Turn left onto Sonoma Blvd (CA-29), right onto Magazine St, and right onto Lincoln Rd E toward Sacramento until you reach 124 Lincoln Rd E.
Next,head to Guanajuato Taqueria for a bite. Head toward Jordan St. Turn left onto Jordan St, turn right onto Magazine St, and turn left onto Laurel St. Stop at 18 Laurel St.
Go to Vallejo Regional Education Center by heading south on Laurel St toward Magazine St. Turn left onto Magazine St and right onto Del Sur St. Stop at 436 Del Sur Street,.
The Vallejo Fire Station is close by. Head north on Del Sur St toward Magazine St. Turn left onto Magazine St and then right onto 5th st. Next, turn right to a private road and drive 141 ft. The station is at 700 5th St.
The last stop is Avalon RV. Depart and head toward 5th st. Turn right onto 5th st and make another right onto Lemon St. Bear right onto I-780 E. At Exit 5, head right on the ramp for E Second St toward Central Benicia.Turn right onto E 2nd S and then another right onto Industrial Way. Turn right onto Bayshore Rd and bear right onto E Channel Rd. Avalon RV is at 510 E Channel Rd.
