Benicia

The Benicia Clock Tower is an event venue located in the same named city in California. Located off Interstate 780 at Washington Street near the entrance to the City Port. It became the first property the city owned in 1964. when it was decommissioned as a military arsenal. It has since served as an event venue. This venue is used for weddings, private parties, community functions, receptions, and fundraisers. The city also owns the City Gym, Community CenterGazebo at City Park, Marina Green, Marina Pavillion, and Senior Center.

Located directly across the Clock Tower at 1 Commandant’s Lane is Arts Benicia Inc. The non-profit organization seeks to stimulate, educate, and nurture cultural life in the city. The organization is succeeding with that through visual art workshops and classes. You can also see the Commanding Officer’s Quarters from the clock tower.

 

Starting at the Clock Tower located at 1189 Washington St, Benicia, CA 94510, take Washington St to Adams St then Military E. If you follow Military E to E L St., you’ll reach Parks & Community Services at 370 E L St, Benicia, CA 94510

If you leave the City Parks & Community Services, head northwest on E L St. toward E 3rd St. Heading northeast on Military E, you’ll reach Jazzercise Fitness Center at 378 Military E, Benicia, CA 94510.

When you leave Jazzercise Fitness Center head due southeast on Military E toward E 4th St. Then turn right at the second cross onto E 5th St. You’ll find Bottom of the Fifth on the right at 498 Military E, Benicia, CA 94510.

If you leave Bottom of the Fifth and head northeast on E 5th Street toward Military E, you’ll arrive at Holiday Inn Express at 1375 E 5th St, Benicia, CA 94510. 

If you leave Holiday Inn Express, take Exit 7A to Industrial Way and E Channel Rd, you’ll reach Avalon RV at 510 E Channel Rd, Benicia, CA 94510.
